How My Products Are Made
Everything in the Mariflo Designs shop — from fine art prints and greeting cards to stationery — is printed, packed, and shipped by hand from my home studio in London, using professional-grade archival inks and fine art paper. The same quality I use for my exhibitions and markets. Nothing is outsourced or mass produced.
A Note for European Union Customers
As a small independent studio, I’m not currently set up to handle EU VAT on orders placed through this website, which means VAT may be charged when your order arrives in your country. To avoid this, you’re welcome to purchase through my Etsy shop, where VAT is handled automatically at checkout. Customs duties may also apply depending on your country.
When Will My Order Be Dispatched?
Orders are dispatched on a weekly or fortnightly basis. I travel periodically to care for a family member, which may occasionally affect timing — but I will always send you a shipping notification as soon as your order is on its way.
If you need something urgently, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I’ll do everything I can to help.
UK Shipping
Standard delivery via Royal Mail 2nd Class — free on orders over £50. Tracked delivery via Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked is available at checkout. Estimated delivery: 2–5 working days from dispatch.
International Shipping
International orders are sent via Royal Mail International Tracked. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Estimated delivery times vary by destination and are outside my control once the parcel has left the UK.
Please note: any customs duties, import taxes, or local charges applied by your country’s customs authority are the responsibility of the buyer. I am unable to predict or cover these charges. Orders refused at delivery due to customs fees cannot be refunded.
Packaging
Every order is carefully packaged to arrive in perfect condition — flat, protected, and ready to frame or gift.
Returns & Refunds
I want you to love what you receive. If for any reason you’re not happy, please contact me within 14 days of delivery and I’ll do my best to make it right.
Fine art prints, greeting cards, and stationery may be returned within 14 days of delivery in their original condition. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds will be issued once the item is safely received back, minus original shipping costs.
Original artworks are final sale unless they arrive damaged, as each piece is one of a kind and painted by hand.
If you need to cancel or change your order, please contact me as soon as possible. Orders are dispatched in weekly or fortnightly batches, so there is often a window where I can help.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact me within 14 days of delivery with clear photographs of the issue and I will arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible.
Customs Charges
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to additional fees, taxes, duties, or customs charges on arrival. These are set by your country’s customs authority and are entirely outside my control. They remain the responsibility of the buyer and orders refused at delivery cannot be refunded.
