Snowdrops are the first sign that winter is loosening its grip, and here they nod in a Victorian-inspired oval frame against a soft teal-green ground. I painted them in delicate watercolour and added the decorative border for a vintage plate feel.

Snowdrops are the birth flower for January and a symbol of hope, so this makes a meaningful gift for a January birthday, a new beginning or a time when someone needs a quiet reminder that brighter days are coming. Lovely in a nursery, bedroom or hallway.
